Course content
PECB University’s Executive MBA in Business Continuity Management is designed for candidates who want to develop a comprehensive understanding of managing business disruptions, emergencies or threats in an organization. Through the program, candidates acquire the necessary competence to respond to and successfully manage emergencies so that the organization’s operations and business continuity are not compromised. The courses in this program prepare candidates in the areas of disaster recovery, business response, risk analysis, information management and others.
In addition to the theoretical aspect, the program also offers practical parts and enables a deeper understanding of business continuity management. By combining theoretical and practical knowledge in the specialization and elective courses, graduates will be able to apply their expertise in dealing with serious situations in an organization. The Business Management and Strategic Alignment courses have been carefully developed and designed to provide a dynamic approach and practical insights into managing teams and organizations. They combine eLearning methods, group discussions, case studies and simulations from Harvard Business Publishing Education and utilize this knowledge in the capstone project.
Candidates will develop their strategic thinking through relevant courses offered as part of the program and become specialists capable of responding to, mitigating or preventing threats and recovering from emergency situations. This Executive MBA is suitable for candidates who aspire to a senior role in business continuity management, whether in the public or private sector.

The courses in business administration provide the basic business knowledge for the application of specialized skills in a business environment. These courses are common to all Executive MBA programs and are completed through PECB University.
