Course content

The Executive MBA program in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) introduces you to the principles of risk management and its applications. You will be empowered to analyze an organization’s entire operations – from small to complex – and identify areas that are more susceptible to fraud and risk.

The courses in this program contribute significantly to the development of your analytical skills and enable you to strategically identify, assess and mitigate risks. You will learn to develop and maintain close and constant communication with all stakeholders, keep an eye on potential risks, avoid complications at the earliest stage and minimize potential profit losses.

In the specialization and elective courses, you will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to recognize and identify threats to the company and turn them into business opportunities. The foundational Business Management and Strategic Alignment courses have been carefully developed and designed to provide a dynamic approach and practical insights into managing teams and organizations. They combine eLearning methods, group discussions, case studies and simulations from Harvard Business Publishing Education and apply this knowledge in the final project.

Goals

  • They conduct gap analyses to compare different systems and as a basis for developing risk management plans for an organization
  • Implement relevant risk identification strategies and methods to identify potential risks promptly and develop a risk mitigation plan
  • They consult previous experience to identify potential risks and develop a contingency plan
  • They analyze the organization’s existing risk planning and monitoring strategies and implement necessary improvements
  • They monitor and report on the effectiveness of ongoing risk management measures
